With MyAARPMedicare Supplement Insurance Plans, you can cover some of the out-of-pocket costs that are not covered by Original Medicare (Part A & B). If you apply during the Medicare Supplement Open Enrollment Period, you are guaranteed acceptance into a Medicare Supplement plan. A Medicare Supplement insurance plan starts the day after you turn age 65 AND enroll in Medicare Part B. You can apply anytime during the year, and some states have additional enrollment periods and guaranteed enrollment situations.
